A guide built around the traveler, not the search engine
Most travel content about Copenhagen reads the same everywhere: the same ten attractions, in the same order, copied from one site to the next by someone who has probably never set foot in the city. That's the opposite of what we do here.
Things to do CPH exists for one reason: to be the guide we wish had existed the first time we visited this city. Every article, every recommendation and every practical detail (opening hours, prices, which line is worth standing in and which one to skip) is written around a single question: what does a traveler actually need to know to enjoy Copenhagen, whether this is a 48-hour stop or a full week?
Whether you're coming as a couple, with kids, or booking a private tour with a local guide, this guide is built to save you time and take you past the obvious.

From Chile to Copenhagen, by way of half of Europe
Every recommendation in this guide passes through the same filter: Felipe's own experience of actually living in this city. Here's his story, in his own words.
"I'd been traveling around Europe for two years when I arrived in Copenhagen. I wasn't planning to stay: it was just another stop on the route, a few days to see the city before moving on to the next destination.
But something shifted. I met people who opened up their everyday lives to me, I started to understand why Danes like living here so much, and those 'few days' turned into weeks, and the weeks into years. I ended up falling for the city as much as for its way of living: the respect for public space, design made for people, the bicycle as a way of life, and that hygge which isn't just a buzzword but a very real way of feeling at home anywhere."

Seeing Copenhagen through a parent's eyes
"Becoming a parent here made me see the city differently from any tourist, and even from most foreign residents. Denmark really is built for families: long, paid parental leave for both parents, quality public daycare that people can actually afford, parks and spaces designed so kids can play without fear, and a culture that treats childhood with a respect I hadn't seen in other countries. You notice it in restaurants, on public transport, in how people react when your child cries on the metro. It's a constant lesson in what it means to genuinely value the youngest among us."

From guiding tours to writing a complete guide to the city
Felipe started guiding private tours because everyone he met asked him for advice: where to eat, which museums were worth it, which neighborhoods to visit. Over time the same questions kept coming up, so he decided to write it all down. That's how Things to do CPH was born: a guide we don't translate from other sites or pad out with generic lists copied off the internet.
Every recommendation has been tested in person: walking the route, eating at the restaurant, queuing at the museum. If something doesn't work, it doesn't make the guide. That's the only rule.
